When changing the password, the current password must first be entered then the new password must be entered twice. According to the administrator’s settings, the password may have to contain a certain number of characters, and may have to be composed of upper or lower case letters, numbers, or special characters.

The following characters are considered as special characters: ! “ # $ % & ‘ ( ) * + , - . / : ; < = > ? @ [ \ ] ^ _ ` { | } ~

If the administrator has determined a period of validity for user passwords, a warning message alerts users before the password is about to expire, as shown in the following example:

The user may decide to change the password even before it has officially expired. Upon expiration of the validity period, the password will have to be changed.

If the Smart Quotes user has a Nomad user status, that user can connect to other versions descending from his/her own version (children versions, grandchildren versions, etc...). If so, after the login window, another window appears where the Smart Quotes user can select the version in which he/she want to log in, as shown in the following example:

The Smart Quotes user can select his/her own version or any sub-version that has been authorized by the administrator.

For the offer field, a lock icon might appear as shown in the following example:

The lock indicates that the currently open offer has been [[Description of the Menu Order | ordered]] or [[Description of the Menu Documents#Blocking an Offer | blocked]].

Once the application has been launched, the Open menu is proposed by default. The Project menu is accessible but not the other menus. The Design menu becomes available once an offer has been open or created. The Price, Notes, Documents and Order menus become available once an offer with system(s) has been open or once a system has been added to a new offer.
