Description of the Sub-Menu Notes

In Metis Smart Suite, Notes are document add-ons to offers and systems when creating and documenting an offer. They can be used in cases when an offer or system requires more information to be supplied, such as special instructions or specific project details. In the '''Notes''' sub-menu  of Metis Smart Modeling the administrator can create a note that can be linked to either an offer or system.

Notes are created in this sub-menu, however, the contents of the notes are actually entered through Smart Quotes. The notes that have been created and appear in this sub-menu also appear under the '''Notes''' menu in Metis Smart Quotes,

which is where the information can be entered. An import functionality can also be set up for each Note to allow the End-user to enter standardized information in the fields.

In the '''Notes''' sub-menu, the "Add" button [[File:MetisSmartModelingAddButton.PNG|link=]] located above the main table allows the user/administrator to create a new Note. When it is clicked, the '''Note''' creation window opens, it allows to define all related information.

Once all related mandatory and optional information have been set, the new Note can be saved by validating the '''Note''' window using the [[File:MetisSmartModelingOKButton.PNG|link=]] button at the bottom of the window.

In the '''Notes''' sub-menu, the "Edit" button [[File:MetisSmartModelingEditButton.PNG|link=]] located above the main table allows the user/administrator to apply modifications to all properties related to the selected Note. Selecting a Note and clicking on it opens the '''Note''' edition window where all related properties and information can be edited.

For detailed descriptions of all information available in this window please refer to the section dedicated to the creation of a new Note. Modifications applied to the selected Note will only be saved once the Note edition window is validated using the [[File:MetisSmartModelingOKButton.PNG|link=]] button at the bottom of the window. This will update the table displayed on the main screen. Using the "Cancel" [[File:MetisSmartModelingCancelButton.PNG|link=]] button discards all changes and closes the window.

== Deleting a Note==

In the '''Note''' sub-menu, the "Delete" button [[File:MetisSmartModelingDeleteButton.PNG|link=]] located above the main table allows the user/administrator to delete the selected Note. Selecting a Note and clicking on it displays the following confirmation window.

Once the warning is confirmed, the selected Note is removed from Metis Smart Suite and deleted from the Metis Database.

== Previewing a Note==

In the '''Notes''' sub-menu, the "Preview" button [[File:MetisSmartModelingPreviewButton.PNG|link=]] located above the main table allows the user/administrator to see all properties and information related to the selected Note.
