Description of the Sub-Menu Lists

Metis Smart Suite enables throughout the various applications dorp-down lists displaying business or organization specific information. For example, the End-users can select an appropriate payment method in Metis Smart Quotes for all theirs offers. In order for the administrator to adapt the content of the application to the use in the organization, he can define both lists and list types to be used in Metis Smart Suite. Those lists can then be linked to specific windows in Metis Smart Quotes for example, thus displaying the content of the list to the end-user. For example, the administrator can define a list "invoicing terms" to be selected by the Metis Smart Quotes user when creating an offer. List Types can also be added, filled and linked to other parts of the application in the same way with the use of the '''Customizing''' sub-menu found in the '''Data Management''' menu. The "List" sub-menu window is split up into two tables, each having the same four action buttons, add, delete, edit, and preview. List types are used to organize lists into more specific categories, while list elements are used just as the contents of the list type. When linked, list types show up as the title for a drop-down list, while the list elements show up as the entries found in the drop-down list.
