Description of the Sub-Menu Addresses

Metis Smart Suite includes an easy to use CRM in order for end-users to address there offers to customers. Of course an offer can be made out to a new customer by entering all its contact information in Metis Smart Quotes, but Metis Smart Suites allows also the administrator to set up the database with existing customers. In the later, this is done for individual addresses in the addresses sub-menu. It is split into two different tabs, for the two different type of addresses which can be entered, '''Addresses''' (for companies) and '''Contacts''' (for contact persons).  

In the '''Addresses''' sub-menu, the "Add" button [[File:MetisSmartModelingAddButton.PNG|link=]] located above the main table allows the user/administrator to create a new address or contact. When the '''Add''' button is clicked, the '''Address''' or '''Contact''' window opens, based on the selected tab. When creating a new address or contact, an address ID is automatically generated and appears at the top of the window.

 

In both the '''Address''' and '''Contact''' windows, the properties of the new address or contact are separated into two columns. On the left under the Designation column appear the titles of properties. On the right under the Data column appear the information inputted by the user. Several of the fields are preceded by a red arrow, indicating that the field is mandatory and must be filled in by the user in order to save the new address or contact. If not, the application will show a warning and ask to fill in the mandatory fields. The address and contact property titles differ quite significantly, and can be seen in the pictures below. When creating a new address or contact, an address ID is automatically generated by Metis Smart Modeling and appears at the top of the window.

Once all related mandatory and optional information have been set, the new address or contact can be saved by validating the '''address or contact''' window using the [[File:MetisSmartModelingOKButton.PNG|link=]] button at the bottom of the window.

In the '''Addresses''' sub-menu, the "Edit" button [[File:MetisSmartModelingEditButton.PNG|link=]] located above the main table allows the user/administrator to apply modifications to all properties related to the selected address or contact. Selecting an address or contact and clicking on the button opens the '''Address''' or '''Contact''' window. All of the fields that were available when creating a new address or contact are still available and can be modified in this '''Edit''' window.

For detailed descriptions of all information available in this window please refer to the section dedicated to the creation of a new address or contact. Modifications applied to the selected address or contact will only be saved once the address or contact edition window is validated using the [[File:MetisSmartModelingOKButton.PNG|link=]] button at the bottom of the window. This will update the table displayed on the main screen. Using the "Cancel" [[File:MetisSmartModelingCancelButton.PNG|link=]] button discards all changes and closes the window.

 

In the '''Addresses''' sub-menu, the "Delete" button [[File:MetisSmartModelingDeleteButton.PNG|link=]] located above the main table allows the user/administrator to delete the selected address or contact. Selecting one or more address or contact and clicking on it displays the following confirmation window.

Once the warning is confirmed, the selected address or contact is removed from Metis Smart Suite and deleted from the Metis Database.

 

In the '''Addresses''' sub-menu, the "Preview" button [[File:MetisSmartModelingPreviewButton.PNG|link=]] located above the main table allows the user/administrator to see all properties and information related to the selected address or contact.
