Metis Smart Suite includes a light-weight CRM in order for end-users to address there offers to customers. Of course an offer can be made out to a new customer by entering all its contact information in Metis Smart Quotes, but Metis Smart Suites allows also the administrator to set up the database with existing customers. In the later, this is done for individual addresses in the addresses sub-menu. It is split into two different tabs, for the two different type of addresses which can be entered, '''Addresses''' (for companies) and '''Contacts''' (for contact persons).

==Creating a new address or contact==

The "Add" button [[File:MetisSmartModelingAddButton.PNG|link=]] allows the user to add a new address or contact. When the '''Add''' button is clicked, the '''Address''' or '''Contact''' window opens, based on the selected tab. When creating a new address or contact, an address ID is automatically generated and appears at the top of the window.

In both the '''Address''' and '''Contact''' windows, the properties of the new address or contact are seperated into two columns. On the left under the Designation column appear the titles of properties. On the right under the Data column appear the informations inputted by the user.

Several of the fields are preceded by a red arrow, indicating that the field is obligatory and must be filled in by the user.

The address and contact property titles differ quite significantly, and can be seen in the pictures below. When creating a new address or contact, an address ID is automatically generated and appears at the top of the window.
