The Open menu is the menu displayed by default when the application starts.

It allows to quickly find and open a project or an offer.

== Project ==

The Project tab allows the Smart Quotes user to search for projects, as shown in the following example:

The left-hand part displays the search criteria. The search criteria correspond to the properties of the project which are as it follows:

* Start Date: the default start date is 01.01.2000 but it can be defined by the Smart Quotes user in the [[Description of the Menu Setup | Setup menu]] or manually using the calendar icon or by typing in the desired date

* End Date: the default end date is the current date but it can be manually defined using the calendar icon or by typing in the desired date

* Description: the name of the project
 +
* Reference: the reference of the project
 +
* Reference 1: the reference 1 of the project
 +
* Opportunity ID: if enabled, the opportunity ID of the project

Upon clicking on the '''Search''' button, the table on the right is populated with the projects matching the search criteria.

Each columns include a search functionality which becomes available by clicking on the magnifying glass icon located on the right of the column title. The contents of each column can also be sorted by alphabetic order or by date by clicking on the up and down arrows located on the left of the column title.

Double-clicking on a project opens it and the Smart Quotes user is redirected to the Project menu.
