Description of the Sub-Menu Service Models

In Metis Smart Suite,  Service Models will feed on the generated or manually input list of material in Metis Smart Quote to generate service items for the offer. In the Service Models Profile menu, the administrator can define and manage the Service Models which will be enabled for a group of users, as shown in the following example:

The Service Model Profiles defined in this menu can then be attributed at a version level to Metis Smart Quotes users.

The left hand part of the service model window allows the administrator to search for a service model profile by its profile name; the full profile name is not necessary. The administrator can enter some characters and the search function returns all the entries that contains the entered characters. The search results are listed under the '''Search''' button. After a search, the search button is greyed out until the search criterion is modified. If the administrator selects an entry in the search result, the profile is automatically selected in the Profiles table.  

* the third column titled Edition, contains a dropdown-list with the following options for the Service Model selected in the current Profile:

** '''Always active''' : The service model appears in Smart Quotes with a padlock and a ticked checkbox that cannot be edited. It will be enabled for all offers created by the users using that profile.

** '''Active by default''' : The service model appears in Smart Quotes with a ticked checkbox that can be edited. It can be disabled manually by the user in Metis Smart Quotes.

** '''Inactive by default''' : The service model appears in Smart Quotes with an unticked checkbox that can be edited. It can be enabled manually by the user in Metis Smart Quotes.

 

 

 

To create a new profile, the administrator can click on the "Add" button [[File:MetisSmartModelingAddButton.PNG|link=]]. The Service Model Profile window appears as shown in the following example:

To create a new profile, the administrator can also create a duplicate of an existing profile and then edit it accordingly. To do so, the administrator must select a profile and then click on the "Duplicate" button [[File:MetisSmartModelingDuplicateButton.PNG|link=]]. The Service Model Profile window appears as shown in the following example:

Selecting a profile and clicking on the "Edit" button [[File:MetisSmartModelingEditButton.PNG|link=]] displays the properties of the profile, as shown in the following example:

The administrator can delete a profile by selecting it first and then clicking on the "Delete" button [[File:MetisSmartModelingDeleteButton.PNG|link=]]. A confirmation window appears as shown in the following example:
